I know it's fashionable to vote by mail in ballot but I still love going to vote in person. So, today Gray got to have his first voting experience when he went with me to my voting location. He ejoyed the attention he got from all of the volunteers and especially loved being able to walk underneath the voting booths. Maybe for the next presidential election I'll try explaining what it's all about, do you think 5 is too young to understand politics?

Our kids are all over it! And don't worry, they'll get a big dose of it at school. They were watching the races with us last night rooting for their favorites (whom they picked by whose name sounded the coolest, I think). Ethan is thrilled to have Obama for pres, while Aidan is mourning "john's" loss. It's pretty funny!
Tony shocked us when he came home from school one day after the conventions and announced we were going to get a new president and that we needed to make a choice NOW. He woke up this morning and wanted to know if Obama was finally president....
Nana says...Well I don't understand politics so maybe he can explain it to me.
