Gray's New Game

Gray has created a new game for himself that he calls "Fall". You can see why. I just hope he outgrows this by the time he is out of diapers or we may have a problem.

Gray vs. Papa

Some moments in life really have to be recorded for posterity. I felt that this was definitely one of them. I apologize in advance for the high cheese factor.

Cherry Trees

I had been meaning to go take pictures at of the Japanese Cherry trees at school for the last 8 years and never got around to it until this weekend. We went over with our friends Tom and Yaya and took lots of pictures. It was a perfect day, the first real sun we had seen in weeks and all of the blossoms were out. An amazing riot of pink and white.

More evidence that spring as offically arrived in Seattle.

Park City, UT

I'm catching up a little bit here...
Over the last weekend in February we went to Park City, UT. Robert got two days of snowboarding in, and Nanny Holly and I dragged Gray all around the outlet mall but he got to go on a big twisty slide afterward so he didn't seem to mind too much. But the big event of the weekend was going to the wedding of one of my dearest college friends. Rebecca and Noah got married on Saturday at the Kimball Art Center, which was a really cool and beautiful place to have a wedding. It was great to see some girls from college that I hadn't seen in years (only girls because I went to an all girls college, in case you were wondering :) Go Scrippsies!

Surprise snow

The weather up here in the PNW can be kind of crazy. I got a call from home this afternoon saying that it was dumping snow. When I looked outside of my office building it wasn't even raining. Yet, sure enough when I got over the bridge it was like a blizzard. It cleared up by 4 so Gray and I bundled up and headed outside for some snow fun.

Hmm...What smells so good?

What do you do when you come home from a long weekend away to a bunch of brown bananas in the fruit bowl. You make banana bread of course! It's even more fun when you have such a great sous chef.
